Short version: we collect what we need to get a crew to your address, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it. The long version is below.

What we collect

When you submit the emergency form: your name, phone number, the situation you select, and any optional details you type. That is the whole form — we deliberately do not ask for a property address online, because the crew confirms it on the phone.

When you call (734) 346-7700: our 24/7 line is answered by an automated voice assistant that can take your details when a human is on another job. It captures the same basics — name, callback number, and what is happening — and passes them to our team so we can dispatch. Your phone carrier and our telephony provider also process the call itself in order to connect it.

When you browse this site: Google Analytics 4 records standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, referring site) and two conversion events — when someone taps a phone link, and when the emergency form is submitted. Our host also keeps ordinary server request logs for security and reliability.

Why we collect it

To answer your emergency and send the right crew and equipment; to follow up about work in progress; to document a loss for your insurance claim when you ask us to; and to understand which pages actually help people so we can improve them. That is the complete list. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it to lead brokers, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.

Who processes it for us

  • Vercel — hosts this website and processes request logs.
  • Forward Email — delivers form submissions and captured call details to our team inbox.
  • Google Analytics 4 — website usage measurement and the two conversion events described above.
  • Our telephony and voice-assistant providers — connect the 24/7 line and transcribe what a caller reports so it reaches a human accurately.
  • Your insurance carrier or adjuster — only when you ask us to submit documentation for your claim.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. You can block them with your browser settings, a content blocker, or Google's opt-out add-on, and this site will still work normally — nothing on it is gated behind analytics. We do not run advertising pixels or cross-site retargeting tags.

How long we keep it

Job records — including the photos, moisture logs, and scopes that support an insurance claim — are retained for as long as the claim and our business records require. Enquiries that never become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful for following up. Analytics data follows Google's standard retention settings.

Your choices

Ask us to delete what we hold about you, correct it, or tell you what we have, and we will — email hello@a2waterdamage.com or call (734) 346-7700. If you have an open insurance claim, be aware that deleting the documentation may affect it, so we will confirm before removing anything a claim depends on. We will never make you give up service to exercise a privacy request.

Children

This is a home-services site for property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes get a plain-language note here rather than a silent edit.
